<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot-operated parking brake structure with a combination of a foot rest function and an energy absorbing function for impact load inputs in a parking brake pedal. <P>SOLUTION: This structure is constructed so that a parking brake cable 27 is pulled by rotating a parking brake lever 22 with the parking brake pedal 22 rotated through a depressing operation of a parking brake pedal 17 in a vehicle.
