PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network connection device which can distinguish and sort out automatically a network address acquisition method corresponding to an environment to be connected even if it is known which network address acquisition method should be used. SOLUTION: In order to use one of the network address acquisition methods among plurality of the network address acquisition methods, the network connection device connected to the network using one of a plurality of network address acquisition methods each for acquiring the network address which is information which specifies a logical position on the network, includes a network address acquisition method change means which changes the network address acquisition method, and a network address acquisition means which acquires the network address by the network address acquisition method changed by the network address acquisition method change means.
