PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition easily released in water although having high adhesion strength, and a temporary fixation method of members. SOLUTION: This adhesive composition contains a urethane (meth)acrylate (1), a (meth)acrylic acid derivative monomer (2) comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of N-(meth)acryloyloxyalkylhexahydrophthalimide, (meth)acrylate containing a carboxy group, and a (meth)acrylic acid derivative monomer resented by general formula (A): Z-O-(R<SB>2</SB>O)<SB>P</SB>-R<SB>1</SB>äwherein Z shows a (meth)acryloyl group, and R1 shows a phenyl grourp, or phenyl group having a 1-3C alkyl group. R<SB>2</SB>shows -C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>-, -C<SB>3</SB>H<SB>6</SB>-, -CH<SB>2</SB>CH(CH<SB>3</SB>)-, -CH<SB>2</SB>CH(OH)CH<SB>2</SB>-, -C<SB>4</SB>H<SB>8</SB>-, or -C<SB>6</SB>H<SB>12</SB>-, and p is an integer of 1-10}, and a photopolymerization initiator (3).
