PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box in which slipping-off of a pair of outer flaps becoming a lid can be eliminated and the state that the slipping-off is eliminated can be maintained and which can be taped and stapled easily for packing. SOLUTION: In the box having a pair of inner flaps 5a, 5b and a pair of outer flaps 6a, 6b, a taper-off protrusion 8 is provided at the butt end of the outer flap 6b and a recess 7 having a shape corresponding to the protrusion 8 is provided at the butt end of the other outer flap 6a. When the pair of outer flaps 6a, 6b are slipped off in the longitudinal direction of the butt end, the side faces of the recess 7 and protrusion 8 can be engaged to each other so as to correct the slipping and the state that the slipping-off is eliminated can be maintained.
