PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment which generates a plurality of kinds of ultrasonic waves having different frequency band widths and center frequencies from one ultrasonic transducer by a simple and inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment 2 is provided with an ultrasonic observation apparatus 11 provided with: a unipolar type pulser 16 generating a driving pulse for exciting the ultrasonic transducer 14; three band pass filters (BPF<SB>1</SB>to BPF<SB>3</SB>) 17 to 19 connected between the ultrasonic transducer 14 and the pulser 16 and transmitting only the output of some specific frequency band width; and a switching switch 20 for switching the BPF<SB>1</SB>to BPF<SB>3</SB>17 to 19 selectively. By switching the BPF<SB>1</SB>to BPF<SB>3</SB>17 to 19 by the switching switch 20, three kinds of ultrasonic waves having different frequency band widths and center frequencies are generated from one ultrasonic transducer 14.
