The production plant (1) comprises one or more mechanically and/or electrically and/or electronically connected stations, for example, a supply station (3, 4), a processing station (5), a discharge station (6) and a plant controller (15), by means of which the control programme (16) is carried out, whereby data recorded by sensors (18) on the stations of the production plant (1) is transmitted to the plant controller (15).
