ROLLER SCREW

A roller screw capable of circulating rollers without twisting a no-load roller return passage connected to a load roller rolling passage. The roller screw comprises a screw shaft (5) having a spiral roller rolling groove (5a) formed in the outer peripheral surface thereof, a nut (6) having a spiral roller rolling groove (6a) facing the roller rolling groove (5a) of the screw shaft (5) formed in the inner peripheral surface thereof, circulating members (12) and (13) having, therein, the no-load roller return passage (10) connected to one end and the other end of the load roller rolling passage (9) between the roller rolling groove (5a) of the screw shaft (5) and the roller rolling groove (6a) of the nut (6), and a plurality of rollers (7) arranged in the load roller rolling passage (9) and the no-load roller return passage (10). As viewed from the front of the nut (6), a pair of direction changing passages (16) at both ends of the no-load roller return passage (10) extend linearly and an angle formed by the pair of direction changing passages (16) is substantially 90°.
