<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium for sublimation ink transfer, which enables the formation of a proper image by preventing the inkjet recording medium and a print medium from being stuck on each other due to heat seal, when sublimation ink is transferred to the print medium, and a transfer recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium for sublimation ink transfer, comprises an ink absorbing layer containing at least a pigment and an adhesive provided on a substrate, wherein the ink absorbing layer comprises silicone spherical powder.
