<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device capable of adjusting variation of white balance resulting from emission luminance characteristics of an organic EL element, etc. and preventing variation of the white balance with lapse of time, and provide a driving method thereof and an electronic device having the organic EL device. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL device has a plurality of pixels having an organic EL element for emitting red light (R), an organic EL element for emitting green light (G) and an organic EL element for emitting blue light (B). In this invention, luminance ratio of each color is adjusted by differentiating timing for making the organic EL element for emitting the red light (R), the organic EL element for emitting the green light (G) and the organic EL element for emitting the blue light (B) non-emission after simultaneously emitting the organic EL elements to be provided to each pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
