<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capture device and a program, with which an image with good focusing accuracy can be obtained with right-time firing of the shutter and without generating time lag. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital camera, a focus lens is moved at a low speed between a timing (Q2) at which a shutter key is half pressed and a timing (Q3) at which the shutter key is fully pressed to detect a focused position (Q4). When the shutter key is fully pressed by a user before the focus lens reaches a focused position (steps Q3 and Q5), the focus lens is moved at a higher speed than that of a case in which the shutter key is half pressed (Q6), and a focused position is detected. Thereby, even when the shutter key is fully pressed by a user before the focus lens reaches the focused position, the digital camera can realize focusing with less delay in capturing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
