PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device wherein the doped or dedoped state of electrically conductive polymer layer is kept if a given voltage(including 0V) is applied to a working electrode, thus expressing memory function. SOLUTION: The electronic device 10 comprises the working electrode 1 formed thereon with the electrically conductive polymer layer 2 and an electrolyte 3 in contact with the electrically conductive polymer layer 2. In this device, the electrolyte 3 contains an ionic liquid, and by varying the applied voltage on the working electrode 1, the electrically conductive polymer layer 2 is doped or dedoped; and by making the applied voltage on the working electrode 1 constant, the electrically conductive polymer layer 2 is kept in a doped state or dedoped state.
