PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a homogenous stretched resin film, which has orientation in its oblique direction, constituted so as to prevent a bowing phenomenon (axial shift phenomenon) most apprehended in oblique stretching, causing no cutting loss, for example, when a retardation film and a polarizing film are laminated so as to form a definite angle and capable of simplifying a process. SOLUTION: In the film processing method for continuously stretching a resin film obliquely in the direction forming an angle of 5-85°with respect to the lateral direction of the resin film, the film at the time of stretching has a temperature distribution in its lateral direction.
