PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which high-definition reproduction image can be obtained by suppressing roughness when the highlight portion of a binary image is reproduced by printing, or the like. SOLUTION: When binary image data is inputted, an image processing section 150 outputs the data of "0" through a through path 155 and a selector 152 if the input value is "0" indicating white color, and outputs multiple-valued data subjected to smoothing at a smoothing section 151 through the selector 152 if the input value is "1" indicating black color.
