PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone capable of making a speech with an external speech unit such as a mobile phone wherein the possibility of making a speech with a plurality of external speech units is enhanced. SOLUTION: A master unit 4 installed inside a house can make a speech with a plurality of mobile phones 16a to 16c at the outside of the house. The interphone is installed with a panic button 12 and a sensor slave unit 8 capable of making a speech with the master unit 4. When a resident is out of the house for example and the master unit 4 receives a call from the panic button 12 and the sensor slave unit 8, the master unit 4 repetitively continues calling a plurality of the mobile phones 16a to 16c except those responding to the master unit 4.
