PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover redundancy by improving restructuring processing in failure of two storage devices storing data/parity in a storage device obtaining redundant data by using the parity. SOLUTION: When a disc #1 is failed during restoring the data/parity of a failed disc #0, the data/parity of an unrestored area of the disc #0 and the disc #1 are restored by using the data/parity stored in the other normal disc without scraping the data/parity already restored and written in a backup disc HS#0, and written in a corresponding area of HS#0 and HS#1.
