PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel and an optical device which are made small-sized and inexpensive by causing one driving means to drive not only a focus lens but also aperture blades. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes a focus lens 101d for adjusting a focal position to a subject, aperture blades for adjusting the quantity of light, and driving means (105a, 109, and 110a) for driving not only the focus lens but also the aperture blades and is configured in such a way that the quantity of light can be adjusted in accordance with the focal position or the subject distance.
