PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive adhesive, a thermosensitive adhesive label and a thermosensitive double-sided adhesive paper excellent in adhesion to an adherend and in antiblocking property and to provide the same that use from the viewpoint of environmental issues a substance that replaces a phthalate used as a heat melting substance (solid plasticizer) for the conventional thermosensitive adhesive. SOLUTION: A thermally active adhesive is provided, which is mainly composed of a thermoplastic resin and a heat melting substance which is solid under the room temperature environment and melts when heated, and in which the heat melting substance is at least one or more selected from the compounds indicated by general formula (1) (wherein R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each independently a 1-9C alkyl group; R<SB>3</SB>a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C alkyl group; and M an alkali metal).
