PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic hand washing and drying apparatus having a short electric wire for connecting a plurality of human body sensors and a controller, eliminating wiring work between the sensors and the controller in a space under a hand washing basin, eliminating the space complicated under the hand washing basin, which is caused by intricated various electric wires, and having good installability and maintainability. SOLUTION: In the automatic hand washing and drying apparatus, a functional unit 16 including a dispensing port 40 of a soap solution-dispensing device, a water delivery port 38 of a hand washing water-dispensing device, a blow port 36 of a warm air drying device, and the human body sensors corresponding to them is provided on the upper surface side of the hand-washing basin 12, and a soap solution-feeding device, a hand washing water-feeding device, and drying air blowing device are set under the hand-washing basin 12.
