PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly calculate a preference degree to a keyword relating to contents viewed by a user.

SOLUTION: This preference degree calculating device comprises a keyword extracting portion 108 for extracting the keyword from content information indicating the information relating to a first content, an evaluated value calculating portion for calculating an evaluated value relating to preference on the first content and a second content distributed when the first content is viewed, and a keyword preference degree calculating portion 109 for calculating the preference degree on the keyword extracted by the keyword extracting portion 108 on the basis of the evaluated value of the first content and that of the second content.
