<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress happening of inconvenience such as misfire of an internal combustion engine even under an unstable combustion condition of the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: In a power output device, hold request to hold an operation point (target rotation speed, target torque) of the engine is established (S360) when property of fuel is heavy, and output torque of the engine is unstable or air fuel ratio feed back correction quantity Tset is unstable (S300-S350). Then, the established hold request is removed when output torque of the engine gets stable and air fuel ratio feedback correction quantity Tset gets stable (S340, S350).
