PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device the package of which can be downsized even when a piezoelectric element has a prescribed length and to provide the package for the piezoelectric device. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device 30 for housing the piezoelectric element 32 in the package is configured such that the package 31 includes a rectangular housing part 38, step difference parts 33, 33 are formed at only one pair of opposite corners of the rectangular housing part, electrode pads 34, 34 are provided to the upper sides of the step difference parts, and the piezoelectric element 32 is mounted along the other opposite corner part of the rectangular housing part.
