PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve conveyance efficiency in a conveyance system for conveying manufacturing objects to be manufactured to be processed in a plurality of manufacturing processes separated into a plurality of floors. SOLUTION: A priority order is calculated on the basis of the total conveyance distance, i. e. the sum of a conveyance distance from a start point to a lifter and a conveyance distance from the lifter to a arriving point (S10). Then, the lifter having the top priority (in re-selection, the subsequent priority is the top priority) is selected (S11), and it is determined whether or not the number of conveyance trucks waiting for conveyance of this lifter is a limited value (S12) or less. If the number of conveyance trucks waiting for conveyance of the lifter of the top priority is not the limited value or less (NO in S12), the lifter is excluded from the selection (S13), and a lifter having the top priority is re-selected (S12). On the contrary, if the number of conveyance trucks waiting for conveyance of the lifter of the top priority is the limited value or less (YES in S12), this lifter is decided as a lifter to be used for conveyance (S14) and the conveyance is started.
