PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume data rendering system for adding the fluctuation expressions of three-dimensional volume data, and for achieving speed expression which can be easily obtained by a viewer. SOLUTION: Volume data are inputted by a volume data acquisition module, and a voxel data set applied with a luminance value and opacity is generated by a voxel data set generation module. When the voxel is sampled from the voxel data set, the voxel is selected while applying fluctuation based on the fluctuation model of the fluctuation module. An integration module calculates pixel data to be plotted based on the luminance value and opacity of the sampled voxel. A plotting module plots pixel data received from a ray casting module. Furthermore, fluctuation processing is carried out by weaving speed expressions by a speed place processing module having a speed field model, and the speed of the volume data is expressed to a viewer.
