PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a briquette for a metal raw material which enables the installing area thereof to be made small, and which can produce a briquette capable of being recycled. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with: a compression molding machine 2 for subjecting a metal powder-containing material for recycling to compression molding to obtain a molding; a drier 5 for drying the molding; a transport device 3 for transporting the molding to the side of the drier 5; and one frame 6 mounted with the drier 5 and the compression molding machine 2 in a state of upper-lower two step arrangement. The drier 5 is arranged at the upper step part 8 in the frame 6, and the compression molding machine 2 is arranged at the lower step part 7 in the frame 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
