The gripper device (10) carries several gripper clamps (54) on a central middle part (12) that can be moved by piston cylinder arrangements. Dual plunger cylinders (20) are used as the piston-cylinder arrangements. The middle part is a tube with accommodation strips to which the cylinders are connected.
