<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition obtaining excellent lipid absorption-suppressing effect and derived from natural edible plants, which composition is a safe food composition or medicinal composition having no adverse effect and ingestible for a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The lipid absorption-suppressing composition for settling the problem contains triterpene alcohol.
