<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is capable of avoiding insufficient toner supply and defectively carrying removed toner, which are caused by changing a print speed. <P>SOLUTION: A common driving motor 201 is shared as a driving source between suction pumps for Y, M, C, and K being toner supply means and a removed toner carrying device being a removed toner carrying means. The common driving motor 201 is provided separately from Y, M, C, and K process motors 170Y, M, C, K for rotationally driving photoreceptors (2Y, M, C, and K) and a belt driving motor 171 for endlessly moving an intermediate transfer belt (41). Therefore, driving speeds of the suction pumps and the removed toner carrying device are controlled independently of driving speeds of the photoreceptors and the intermediate transfer belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
