<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device control system which is capable of protecting an image forming device against a decrease in operating efficiency due to excessively degenerate processing by sorting out modes in which malfunction occurs and prohibiting only irreducible minimum specific modes when the malfunction (error) occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a failure sensing means which defects the malfunction of a device or the transfer failure of a sheet and a storage means which stores operation information that is related to the device and contains failure information detected by the detection means, malfunction information occurring in the job in the same mode is stored twice or more times in the storage means, the patten is specified, and the job is inhibited or device operation control information for caution is issued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
