<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage case for a card or a booklet for preventing the unlawful reading of the data of a record medium stored, with a decorative characteristic not possessed by a conventional case of this type, in a storage case for a card or a booklet capable of non-contact reading. <P>SOLUTION: This storage case for a card or a booklet is provided on both faces of its storage part 3 for storing the card or the booklet with a laminated sheet 2 including a soft base material sheet, a metal foil attached to the sheet face of the base material sheet and a soft sheet-like cover material attached to the foil face of the metal foil. It is desirable that the foil face of the metal foil 6 is coated with a coating containing metal powder, especially the powder of a magnetic metal such as ferrite or its oxide.
