<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling opening-closing device contributable to thinning of a door. <P>SOLUTION: A power window device 1 as the self-traveling opening-closing device has a fixing part 5a fixed to a vehicle door 2, a driving part 5b fixed to window glass 3, and a cable 6 for supplying electric power to the driving part 5b. The cable 6 has a substantially flat cross section. A driving source side fixing part 35 of the cable 6 is fixed to the driving part 5b in a mode of allowing its flat direction to coincide with the thickness direction of the vehicle door 2.
