PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a mounting condition so that the condition approximates to a reference value of a parameter concerning power consumption.

SOLUTION: The mounting condition determining method for determining a mounting condition of a facility for mounting components on a substrate includes a reference value acquiring step of acquiring a reference value of a parameter concerning power consumption required for mounting the components; an actual value acquiring step for acquiring the value of the parameter on the basis of an actual mounting condition; and a mounting condition determining step for determining a new mounting condition on the basis of a result of comparing the reference value with the actual value. The parameter concerning the power consumption is a production time. The reference value acquiring step acquires a target production time permissible for the production of a mounting substrate. The actual value acquiring step acquires an actual production time in actually producing a mounting substrate on the basis of the number of used beams which is the mounting condition. The mounting condition determining step determines the number of used beams so that the acquired actual production time may not exceed the target production time.
