<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform temporary stop and restart of the function of one's own electronic tag without stopping the function of an electronic tag of the other person or being stopped by the other person. <P>SOLUTION: This portable terminal 111 comprises an electronic tag communication part communicating with an electronic tag 11, and a LAN communication part communicating with a LAN to which an electronic tag reader 107 for reading ID of the electronic tag and a position information management server 103 are connected. The portable terminal performs reading request of ID that is unique information of the electronic tag, and transmits identification information to be set in the electronic tag managed by the portable terminal 11 to the electronic tag. The ID reading request by the electronic tag communication part and the transmission of identification information and ID are performed in a proximal distance using radio waves of relatively low output, and a temporary stopping command function for temporarily stopping the function of the electronic tag and a restart command for restarting the function are transmitted to the electronic tag 110 using radio waves of relatively high output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
