<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitivity reader for an IC chip built-in card, allowing comfortable operation of only holding-up. <P>SOLUTION: In this IC chip built-in card reader, a reading part 103 includes a guidance means 502 for guiding a finger to a way of holding wherein the finger does not cover an antenna part of the IC chip built-in card when holding up the IC chip built-in card 200. An indication 600 for suggesting a position to which the IC chip built-in card is held up is displayed on a reading face provided with the guidance means, and a shape of the guidance means is formed in a shape wherein the IC chip built-in card can not be placed on the guidance means so as not to press the IC chip built-in card by the finger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
