<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system capable of preventing lowering of driving service due to generation of an unnecessary special call and re-registering the call registered by wrong operation, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A call registration change-over button 34 is provided separately from a destination call button 31 on a destination call registration device 14 in a passenger cage 13. An elevator control device 11 registers call information input by pressing down the destination call button 31 as a general call in a general call table 21a and registers it as a special call in a physically-handicapped person call table 21b when the the destination call button 31 is pressed down continuously after the call registration change-over button 34 is pressed down.
