<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a futon which can assure a comfortable life by improving a counterpane and a mattress. <P>SOLUTION: The mattress 2 is not shifted by extending translocation fixed cloth 5 from the head point part of a mattress main body 4 and by forming a bag-like part 7 having a shedding 6 at one end with the translocation fixed cloth 5 to insert in the floor board 9 of a bed 8. Also, the counterpane 3 is extended so as to be spread on the lower side of the mattress 2 by hanging the translocation fixed cloth 16 from the foot tip part of a counterpane main body 15 to the foot tip part of the mattress 2.
