PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioning system for controlling a small fan motor to consistently maintain the heat exchanging efficiency of a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit for the air conditioning system comprises the plane outdoor heat exchanger for closing almost whole of the back opening of a cabinet and a heat exchanger chamber storing a propeller fan opposed close to the front center of the outdoor heat exchanger and a DC driven fan motor for varying a rotating speed.
