PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early detect a sideration state of cardiac disease in a mammal that is or has been suffered from arteriosclerosis with a single measurement without requiring an expensive exclusive measuring apparatus. SOLUTION: The level of N2, N2-dimethyl guanosine in urine of a target mammal origin, and the level of N2, N2-dimethyl guanosine in urine of a healthy mammal origin that is not suffered from cardiac disease or arteriosclerosis are measured, and the level of N2, N2-dimethyl guanosine of the target mammal is compared with the level of N2, N2-dimethyl guanosine of the healthy mammal. Thus, the sideration state of cardiac disease in the target mammal within a predetermined period is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
