PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of stably operating a drive mechanism and control system of an accumulator device without being thermally affected by a piston and a plasticized resin. SOLUTION: The injection molding machine is equipped with a continuous plasticizing device 11 for plasticizing a synthetic resin material, the accumulator device 12 comprising a cylinder 21, which communicates with an outflow passage of the continuous plastizing device 11, and a piston 23 provided in the cylinder 21 and temporarily storing the plasticized resin supplied from the continuous plastizicing device 11 and an injection device 13 for injecting the plasticized resin supplied from the accumulator device 12. A drive motor 45 for driving the piston 23 so as to allow the same to advance and retreat is provided to the upper part of the accumulator device 12 and a heat insulating material 32 as a heat barrier means is provided between the piston 23 and the drive motor 45.
