PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll forming apparatus excellent in durability in which the life of feed screw mechanism of each roll support base can be prolonged. SOLUTION: By making a movable base 4 movable in the Y-axis direction when the frequency of machining of a work reaches a prescribed number of times, the movable base 4 is displaced in the Y-axis direction. A driving means 14 of each roll support base is controlled on the basis of the displacement in the Y-axis direction of the movable base 4 so that the position of each roll support base 6 is symmetric in the Y-axis direction about the axial line of the work W.
