<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for setting printers as a distribution source and a distribution destination for a printing job in a distributed printing system for improving the convenience in the distributed printing system. <P>SOLUTION: The distributed printing system has a setting device for distributed printing setting. The setting device provides a graphical user interface. The IP address of a distribution source printer selected by a user, a list for printers having the same model as the distribution source printer, and a list for distribution destination candidate printers, selected from among the list by the user are displayed on the graphical user interface.
