<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that is small-sized and low-cost and can efficiently supply only necessary charged toner for development without carrying low charged toner nor reversely charged toner, a process cartridge equipped with the developing device, and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is equipped with a toner carrying member 12 which carries toner to a region opposed to an image carrier 1 where an electrostatic latent image is formed and a developer carrier 13 which supplies the toner to a toner carrying member 2, and supplies the toner from the developer carrier 13 carrying the toner and a carrier mixedly to the toner carrying member 12, carries the toner to a development region with a transporting electric field produced by the toner carrying member 12, and develops a latent image on the image carrier 1 through ET development using a hopping phenomenon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
