<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble dietary fiber-containing composition which can add water-soluble dietary fibers in an amount capable of expressing physiological effects such as the blood glucose level elevation-inhibiting action, the intestinal function-regulating action, the lipid metabolism-improving action, and the like of the water-soluble dietary fibers to foods such as bakery foods, noodles and the like without deteriorating the qualities of the foods and workability for producing the foods, to provide a method for producing the composition, and to provide a functional food using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: A water-soluble dietary fiber-containing composition comprises a water-soluble dietary fiber material and a thickening polysaccharide in a mixing ratio, by mass, of 95:5 to 80:20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
