<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize change of an operation state in displaying the operation state by stopping a needle at a predetermined position, in an electronic clock for driving a plurality of needles with one motor of which driving direction is only one direction. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic clock comprises at least two needles and one motor where the driving direction of the needles is only one direction. The electronic clock has a control means for controlling the driving of the motor. The control means displays a plurality of pieces of information by stopping at least one needle at a plurality of stop positions. A needle control state controlled by the control means has a first needle control state of displaying information other than a usual time display, and a second needle control state of displaying completion of the first needle control state based on an external operation.
