<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain resistor paste having a super-high resistance of 1 MΩ/square or above, for example, in which the TCR characteristics and the STOL characteristics can be improved by suppressing variation in resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The resistor paste is produced by dispersing a conductive material, a glass composition, and an additive into an organic vehicle wherein the additive contains a composite oxide represented by AXO<SB>4</SB>(in the formula, A is at least one selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba, and X is at least one selected from hexavalent elements).
