<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize winning controller for pachinko game machines which can enhance expectations felt for how the frequency of the rotation of ball receiving members when game balls win starter prize winning slots. <P>SOLUTION: A variable prize ball device 20 disposed on a game board is provided with ball entry slots 22a and 22b on both its side parts while having the ball receiving members 23a and 23b for opening or closing the ball entry slots. A pair of starter slots 14a and 14b is disposed below the variable prize ball device and a variable figure display part 15 adapted to selectively display one figure out of variable figures is disposed between the starter slots. When game balls win the starter slots, the frequency of opening or closing the ball receiving members is determined with a control circuit and one figure is displayed on the variable figure display part after the variable display accordingly. The frequency of opening or closing is divided into one as normal frequency and two as special frequency and the figures determined according to the respective frequencies are displayed.
