DOCUMENT READER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS COMPRISING SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain an output image having a good appearance without particularly performing key operation of mode switching in carrying out a frame deletion process or complicated designation regarding an output size or expansion/contraction scale when sequentially reading images of a document and aggregating them into one output image. SOLUTION: The state of opening/closing a platen cover is detected by an opening/closing sensor 26 and while the platen cover is opened, the frame deletion process is carried out by a read image processing unit 3. On the basis of the output size determined from the size of obtained images and the number of images, an image aggregation unit 18 performs processing for aggregating a plurality of images into one image.
