PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber line transmitter which confirms the corresponding state of a current E1 link and performs an operation, on the basis of the confirmed correspondence information, since the correspondence information of a link ID for identifying the E1 link of a V5.2 interface and the number of a port, where the E1 link is mounted is set by a maintenance personnel, however, since there is the case that the setting error or a connection error occurs and it is difficult to specify the error. SOLUTION: The subscriber line transmitter comprises a system control part provided with a temporary setting table for temporarily setting the correspondence information of the plurality of E1 link IDs of the V5.2 interface and the port numbers of the E1 links and an operation setting table for setting the correspondence information for operating the V5.2 interface; a V5.2 protocol processing part for executing the starting procedure of the E1 link and a link ID verification procedure; and a V5.2 protocol control part for establishing the communication control protocol path of the V5.2 interface, on the basis of the information of the temporary setting table by using the E1 link established by the starting procedure.
