PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved optical analytical system of enhanced reaction rate and sensitivity, by increasing a surface area of a solid phase, by reducing a diffusion distance, and by making firm optical coupling to an excitation light source between the solid phases, and coupling between the solid phase and a detected object. SOLUTION: This assay system is a device for assaying a liquid sample, and includes a hollow light transmitting guide tube means of substantially uniform cross-sectional dimension fit to a liquid flow, and a quantitativeness detection system arranged exactly in the guide tube to determine quantitatively an electromagnetic wave emitted from an inside of one part in the guide tube means, while combining those.
