PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified rainfall alarm with a simple and inexpensive structure which can simply and easily measure a cumulative rainfall, readily inform residents of the rainfall getting to a previously set alarm/evacuation baseline by bringing an alarm lamp to light and an alarm buzzer to sound, easily carry out its maintenance and facilitate its handling in a resident level. SOLUTION: The simplified rainfall alarm comprises: a water storage bottle 25 composed of a water receiving section 3, on the outer circumferential surface of which a seal member 31 having a rainfall level scale 29 is attached, a water storage section 7 connected to the water receiving section 3 through an aqueduct 5, and an alarm 11 connected to the water storage section 7 through a signal cable 9; an aqueduct insertion opening 33 which is disposed on the upper surface of the water storage bottle 25 and into which the aqueduct 5 is inserted; and a plurality of electrodes 41A, 41B, 41C, 41D and 41E which are disposed inside the water storage bottle 25 and detect the amount of rainfall equal to a previously set value.
