PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-drum mixer to be disposed of together with liquid radioactive waste and adapted so that a solidifying agent surely gets mixed with the waste liquid even if the revolving speed of agitation vanes is decreased in order to increase capacity for waste liquid. SOLUTION: A pipe 10 for supplying a solidifying agent such as cement to a drum 1 is disposed so that its oblique part 10b runs along a tangential direction of a circular arc which is the rotation track of agitation vanes 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d of this in-drum mixer 2 provided in the drum 1 with the liquid radioactive waste stored therein. Since the solidifying agent is put through the oblique part 10b and inputted into the drum 1 in concert with the flow direction of the radioactive waste, the solidifying agent is agitated in keeping with this flow and surely mixed with the radioactive waste. Part of the agitation vanes, etc. which is in risk of suffering the deposition of the solidifying agent is coated with fluororesin, thereby accelerating the slipping off of the solidifying agent.
